16 rollers turned up at Lanna, making an easy 4 teams of 4. Welcome to new bowlers Steini Roy and Tang. What can I say? Another, mostly, low scoring week with lane 21 taking first prize with 2,370 pin total. Phil W +29, Steini -71, Michael +44 and Sherman -32 made up that team. Second place team ( no prize money! ) trundled in with 2,163 pins. Apparently, the lanes had not been 'oiled' very well this week so we do have a valid excuse. RJ +38 and John X +15 managed to 'over-handicap' so it could have been worse! RJ in again taking 1st (232) and 3rd (243) high score games, Stewart taking 2nd game with 210. Well....with handicaps going through the roof, I foresee a record breaking week anytime soon........and it could just be next week.
Suphin the pie lady, has been around for a few weeks selling some delicious western food to the gang, so i've just included a photo..........
