Good turn out this week of 20 bowlers, making a nicely rounded, 5 teams of 4 with second prize money! Welcome to new faces, Naomi and Kazu, brought along with Ben and Corky. And welcome back to Jo. Always good to see old faces return. Some good scoring this week with lane 20 taking number 1 spot, and B600 prize money, with an excellent pin total of 2,671. Team members were Ta +47, Lennart +40, Phil W +51 and RJ with an amazing +123! Well done Richard (RJ) and a really good team effort. Crossing the line a distant second, was lane 23 with a very good 2,563 pins and taking the B200 prize. Craig +59, Tip -28, Les +69 and Surachot +63 making up that team. That score would usually have been good enough to take first prize..........but not this week! High score winners......Game 1, RJ 243 and B80. Game 2, Michael 237, B100. And game 3, RJ ( that man again ) 255 and B80. Other high rollers over handicap were John V +37, Ron +21, John X +11 and John Q with a scraper +1!

Just an added feature...............Top bowler this week, WITHOUT handicap for the 3 games this week was Craig with a very good 569 gross total. Alas, no prize money for that. Good fun again this week.........the more the merrier....... so hope to see you all soon.

"Legs eleven" bowlers this week, making 2 teams of 4 and 1 of 3. Welcome back to 2 faces from the past, H and Craig. And both bowling well on their comebacks. H with +27 and Craig with +11. But the winning team this week was lane 22, team of 4, with a very good 2,578 pin total taking B400 prize money. Garry W +39, John X +93, Michael +103 and Steve J -57 making up that team. Second place with 2,419 ( with phantom 4th ), but alas, no 2nd prize money, was lane 21 with H and Craig, accompanied by Tip with -23. High score winners this week were John X, 1st game, and B60 and Michael taking 2nd, and 3rd games with B80 and B60 respectively. Good to have Les around, helping with the scoring etc. and hopefully, back bowling again in the not too distant future. No other high rollers this week. A good time was had by all. 14 bowlers this week making 2 teams of 3 and 2 of 4. Unfortunately we were split up into lanes15 and 16, and lanes 21 and 23, which made it not so cosy as when we're all together. Oh well.........Lane 15 done the business with a pin total (including phantom 4th) of 2,512. Team of Steve J +6, David S +6 and John X +72! Well done. Lane 16 came in 2nd ( no 2nd prize money this week ) with 2,418. Stewart ( +33 ) was head coach in that team with new and first time bowler Nui, making a very respectable +24 and Tip with -41. Last week we had a team of 3 that all made handicap in every game. This week we had a team of 4 where nobody made handicap in any game at all! No names mentioned but i guess thats bowling........ High score games winners were Stewart, 234. John X, 250 and Ron 234. Apart from the aforementioned, no other outstanding scores. Good fun. Always nice to see new faces at Lanna........and old ones too!........see you next time.

Cosy group of 9 bowlers this week, making an easy 3 teams of 3.

Lane 23 taking first position again this week with another huge score of 2,055. Adding the phantom

4th bowler would have made a total of 2,740 pins.  Now thats good bowling!

Lennart was in there again with +76. Tip with +73 and RJ with +79. It doesn't happen very often but

all 3 players were over handicap in all 3 games!  Really well done.

With lane 23 performing so well last week too, will next week be the the same?? We shall see..........

A long way behind in 2nd were lane 22 with a total of 1,781. John X -29, John V -25 and Stewart

+35 making up that team.

High score games went to RJ, 239 and first game.  Steve with 248, second game and Lennart (that man again!) 233, third game. All in all, a memorable week at Lanna Bowl.

A different 13 bowlers this week with 3 teams of 3 and one of 4.

Lane 23 was the clear winner with a massive 2,568 total. ( Including the phantom 4th bowler! )

Lennart coming good again this week with an impressive +96.

Stewart, +15 and Steve J, +25 made up the team and took the

first prize money.

A distant second (no prize money this week) was the team of 4

on lane 19. Les +46, Ta -30, Michael -25 and RJ +2 made

up the 2,423 pin total bowlers.

Hi scores winners this week were Lennart, game 1 and +21.

Lennart again! game 2 with +61.

And Stewart in game 3 with +30.

Other, above handicap, high rollers this week included,

Jack +16. Phil W +11. John P +3 and Ron + 26.

Not so many mechanical problems this week.

Maybe the approaching 'cool season' will be a good thing
