16 bowlers this week despite the floods, making an easy 4 teams of 4. Welcome to new bowler, Mark from Canada.  Once again, some good scores recorded, with a remarkable +78 from Lennart! I wont reveal his new handicap here, but glancing through the pages of 'the book', it looks to me like the lowest ever. Unless someone knows different!

Turns out that lane 24 is not so bad after all (maybe too much oil in previous weeks?), taking number 1 spot with a really good, 2,493, and B400 prize money. Lennart was part of that team, with the rest , also bowling well. John X, +12, Steve J with +5 and Phyllis, -2.

A not too distant, lane 21, and 2,471 pins were second with Les +16, John V +32, John F +40 and Sherman -17, and picking up B200.

High score prizes went to John V, 252 (1st game, B80) Lennart 2nd game, B80 and 225 pins and Fon, 3rd game with 264 and B60. ,

Other high rollers this week included Michael +37 and Garry W +33.

13 bowlers again this week, so one team of 4 and 3 of 3. We tried waiting for all lanes to finish before starting the next game to help with the timing of the total finish and it seemed to work well. All 4 lanes ended at about the same time.

Some high scoring this week with Lennart bowling a 273 in the last game with a +90 overall. With 5 strikes straight off, we were all hoping to see "the perfect game". Well done!

Winning lane, 23 this week, including Lennart, were Surachot -41, Stewart +49 and Phil W +19 and a pin total of 2,517. Second with 2,421 was lane 21, but again, winner takes all B480 and B40 tip.

High rollers this included John F +50, Ta +44, John V +41 and Phyllis +20 and taking the high score prizes were Ta, first game with 251, and Lennart taking the other two with the 273 and a 219.

Some bowlers are not too happy about lane 24 and i do agree, so next week we'll try not to use that lane. Well played everyone and see you next week.

'Unlucky for some' 13 bowlers this week. Maybe a tad unlucky for lane 24. Team of 4, with 3 teams of 3, they sprung a leak and had to switch lanes, then had a few mechanical problems, so a late finish this week. Never mind. We are, mostly, retired! It was suggested that teams of 4 start 15 minutes before teams of 3. We could try that.

Winners this week were lane 21 with a very good 1914 total . Corky +71, Surachot +48 and Stewart -5. Joint 2nd a long way behind with 1809 pins were lanes 23 and 24. Winner takes all though with B480 ( B40 tip. These guys do a good job! )

High score winners, 1st game Phyllis 238 and B60, 2nd Lennart B60 and 3rd game goes to Les, 239 and B40. Some pretty good scores this week, with John X maintaining a low handicap. Well done!

Sixteen bowlers this week, making four teams of four. Again, winner takes all B600 (B40 tip)

Only one team managed to rise above the magic 2400. Maybe the childrens birthday party affected us!

Walt again had a good day +66 (taking the first 2 HS prizes) but the winning team on lane 22 with a total of 2421 were Steve J -42, Phil W +47, John Q +43 and H -27. Well done!

Lennart was unlucky to be pipped at the post for HS in game 2 with 252 (Walt 269!) The 3rd game HS went to John X with 216.

Other standout players this week......Phil +47, John Q +43, Michael +28.
