Bowling Wed 31 August, 2011
Four teams of 4, winner takes all B600 (minus tip)
One player stood tall today, Walt +116 lead the way for Lane 21, team mates Steve.J +27, Garry.W +5 and John.V -104
were happy to stand at the collect window. The teams overall pin count was 2444.
There is quite a long list of standouts today, take a deep breath...
RJ +65, Stewart +58, Surachot +51, Sherman +43, Tip +31 and Michael +20.
Steve J picked up High Score in game 2 and Walt collected the other two.
Who is going to be the standout players in September? See you next week to find out.
Note: Sad News. R.I.P. One of our long time supporters and good friend to many Mike Breeze passed away today in the UK from the dreaded Cancer. A familiar face in the winners photos he will be missed by all.

Bowling 24 August, 2011
16 bowlers today, not a day of high standards but a few laughs just the same.
We welcomed back Aussie David.S after a few years away
Lane 21 was first with a measly 2418. Tip +45, RJ +13, H -11 and Stewart -29.
Les won high score in game 1 with a 238 but fell apart after that.
RJ had an up and down day as well but hit 242 in game 2 to claim his B80.
Steve J was +44 on the day and won High score in game 3 with 224.
John X was +37and Noi was +17 for the day but they walked away with no prizes.

Bowling Wednesday 17th August, 2011
19 bowlers today, again playing together near the centre entrance again..no complaints..
Les is back from holidays and "happy man" Tony bowled his last game for 5 years.
Lane 23 won the day with 2443 pins. Phyllis +13, John X +20, Tip +25 and Tony -15.
Second on Lane 22 was Sherman -19, Jo -5 and Michael +20.
RJ bowled +44 and Len bowled a very even +46.
High Scores: Game1: John X 255, Game2: RJ 246 Game3: Les 223.
Michael's handicap has lowered by over 20 pins over the last few months, from 60 to 38, well done!

Bowling Wednesday 10 August, 2011
We played on the good lanes near the entrance again, thanks to the centre.
6 teams of 3 this week, there was lots of "woo-hoo's" and hi-5's as strikes and spares just kept going off, good fun.
The winning team on lane 21 was Lennart +60, Surachot +67 and John X -20, with a combined total of 1909.
Second prize only 9 pins behind, was Pung +40, Phyllis +35 and Michael +25.
Only Sherman had a big series outside the winners with a +50.
12 players felt strong and entered the High score comp. The winners were Surachot-232, Steve J-217 and Garry W-244, winning 80 Bhat each.

Bowling 3rd August 2011
There are far too many lanes the centre just gave up on, they sit there dead and in darkness.
16 bowlers today, one more lane just gave up so we had more delays. and the score printer has also called it quits. On the positive side we had many bowlers doing well above average.
The new Aussie bowler Robbie started slowly on a 70 handicap (183,186,248).
The winners Sherman +10, Garry W +38 and RJ +38 were a combined 86 over average.
Second and third were one pin apart! ..hanging on to second was John V+56, Tip -4 and Ecker -14.
Other good scores....Phillis +56, Ta with +43 and Steve J with +46, well done.
Ta +221, Garry W +239 and RJ +232 took the 3 High score prizes.
The high score prizes would have gone to others but they declined to enter... Such is life :)
See you next week around 3:30. cheers.

Bowling 27 July 2010
Just a handful of us this week 14 in all, Christian brought new bowler Christiane along, she had mix of good and bad and enjoyed the day.
Due to illness Mike B won't be joining us any more, he has moved back home for treatment ..he will be missed and we wish him well.
The centre gave our lanes away for a big group,I suppose we should make a permanent booking to prevent this!
