Vale - Anita

It is with much regret that I must inform you all of the passing of Anita at age 90 years last week.

Unfortunately, we were informed too late to organise anything for her cremation on Saturday but I do believe that Rex & Jo attended and undoubtedly would have relayed our respects.

She is remembered by and will be sadly missed by all who knew her I am sure.

Welcome back to Len, Noel & Phil Williams and I think Phil has been having a bit of practice while in Wales, whereas Len & Noel are just happy to be back. There were 27 people competing in 6 teams of 4 and one team of three. High Score prizes went to Surachot and John B while the winners on the day were JJ, John B, Colin and Ning 2 although it was a close call with Surachots team coming down to the last frame. Three more new faces this week. Welcome to Dennis, Sarita and Eddie. Hope to see you all again next week. Anita returned from her American Trip, alas not in the best of health and was not able to bowl. But it was her Birthday and all the Chiang Mai bowlers wished her a Happy 90th Birthday !!! and Rex & Jo presented her with a lovely flower arrangement.

This week we had even numbers again, 9 teams of 4 for a total of 36 players. The best bowler this week was john R with a gross total 532 pins . Winner of the high score for a 140 bht was Jim C with a gross total of 241 pins.

The winners for 800bht were Martin, John V, Chris and Scott with a total team score of 2482. The runners up prize for 400bht went to John R, Ning2, Somsee, and David W with a total team score of 2465 .
